1 Week PDR Starter Course ( Training on Hoods or Body Parts)
The course curriculum for this program is physically demanding and packed with proper foundation building exercises to teach you the basics of PDR in the shortest amount of time possible. Students graduating from this course should expect to continue practicing their newly learned skills until they achieve the speed and proficiency desired. The objective of our PDR 1 week course is to provide intensive instruction to an individual who has the goal to continue their skills at home or on-the-job upon graduation. Graduates will have the basic knowledge to properly access and remove a variety of damage. Remember, "Practice makes perfect" so be sure to continue practicing your newly learned skills after class as this is a starter course.
School Curriculum for our 1 Week PDR Programs:
Please note: In our 1 week PDR course, you'll develop your skills with supervision on hoods or car body parts. If students are above average and meet the requirement modules for 1 week pdr early they will be advanced into our 2 week program. We will customize to your skill level- instructor discretion
Introduction to PDR and explanation of different styles of dents
Orientation and demonstration of processes
Explanation of damage theory and description of metal characteristics
How to properly read the light
Tool location exercises on practice panels
High point recognition and techniques for removing them with hammer and tap down
Removal of small lows
Begin to remove dime to quarter size dents on practice panels both under braces and in the open
Begin to remove deeper and larger sized dents
Techniques for removing creased dents, body line damage, pressure dents and hail
Review all access points for all panels of the vehicle (troubleshooting) if applicable- instructors discretion
Work on various panels of vehicles on a variety of different type of dents if applicable- instructors discretion
Continue hands-on for access with emphasis on side panels if applicable- instructors discretion
Proper tool selection
Access lessons if applicable-instructors discretion
Finishing techniques and color sanding
Double metal and ways to access damage in these areas
Estimating, advertising, marketing and techniques for building a dealer and retail business

2 Week PDR Course (Training on Actual Cars)
This course is highly recommended by our staff designed for individuals who have the extra time to develop their newly learned skills with additional supervision of their instructor on cars. Benefits of this program include increased speed, confidence and overall proficiency. In our 2 week PDR course, you'll continue to develop your skills with the supervision on cars. This course is extremely beneficial for any individual who wants to excell with accessing and troubleshooting while spending quality time on cars with your instructor.The objective of this course is to provide an on-going lesson plan which will assist in the reduction of time needed to practice when you get home. While it doesn't eliminate the need to practice, it will shorten your learning curve dramatically. The main benefit on these programs is the length of time you get to spend repairing metal side by side with your instructor on cars.
